(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Bertha Road from its junction with. Milnrow Road for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Bertha Road from its junction with. Milnrow Road for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate a new Water Connection within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 24th August 2026 until 23:59 on the 26th August 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Milnrow Road, Rosefield Crescent, Bertha Road, & vice versa.

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITING PARKING BAY & PROHIBITION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily;
(i) Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Rochdale Township) Order 2008
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily;
(i) Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Rochdale Township) Order 2008

The Order is required to facilitate new BT service to a property from within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 26th August 2026 until 18:00 on the 6th September 2026. The route for vehicles will not be affected.
(SMITHY BRIDGE ROAD, LITTLEBOROUGH (6))
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to; (i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Smithy Bridge Road from a point 15 metres north west of the level crossing for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate safe annual testing of the Railway Level Crossing.
The Order will be operative from 00:10 on the 23rd August 2026 until 05:30 on the 23rd August 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Smithy Bridge Road, Milnrow Road (Littleborough), Wildhouse Lane, Kiln Lane, Bridge Street, Rochdale Road, Milnrow Road (Rochdale), Albert Royds Street, Halifax Road (A58), Smithy Bridge Road & vice versa.
(MILAAD PROCESSION 2026, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along;
i) Derby Street for its entire length
ii) Milkstone Road from its junction with Derby Street to its junction with Deelpish Road
iii) Deeplish Road for its entire length
iv) Ashfield Road from its junction with Deeplish Road to Boundary Street
v) Boundary Street from its junction with Ashfield Road to King Street East
vi) King Street East from its junction with Boundary Street to Mere St
vii) Mere Street from its junction with King Street East to Drake Street
viii) Tweedale Street at its junction with Mere Street
ix) Drake Street from its junction with Mere Street to Park Street
x) Park Street for its entire length
xi) St Alban’s Street at its junction with Park Street
xii) Sparrow Hill from its junction with Vicar’s Drive to Church Stile
xiii) Church Stile from its junction with Sparrow Hill to Church Lane
xiv) Church Lane for its entire length
xv) Fleece Street for its entire length
The Order is required to facilitate the safe holding of the Milaad Procession.
The Order will be operative from 14:00 to 17:00 on a single day between 24th August 2026, 25th August 2026 or 26th August 2026.
The closure of the above streets will be in the form of a rolling road closure. Due to the nature and duration of the event it is not necessary for alternative routes to be in place.
(QUEEN STREET, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Queen Street from its junction with Whitehall Street to its junction with Duke Street.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Queen Street from its junction with Whitehall Street to its junction with Duke Street.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of telecoms equipment in the highway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 7th September 2026 until 23:59 on the 17th September 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Whitehall Street, Howard Street, Duke Street & vice versa.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;

(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Princess Street from its junction with Whitehall Street to its junction with Duke Street.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Joy Street from its junction with Binns Nook to its junction with Scarr Drive.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Joy Street from its junction with Binns Nook to its junction with Scarr Drive.
The Order is required to facilitate resurfacing of the carriageway on Joy Street within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 7th September 2026 until 17:00 on the 28th September 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Scarr Drive, Dewhirst Road, Binns Nook Road & vice versa.
