HYSBYSIR trwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Torfaen wrth arfer ei bwerau o dan y Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn nid llai na saith diwrnod ar ôl dyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn effaith yr hwn fydd gwahardd unrhyw draffig rhag mynd ar hyd rhan o’r terminws bysiau, Fairwater Way, Fairwater, Cwmbrân.

Mae’r ffordd amgen at hyd Fairwater Way ac i’r gwrthwyneb. (Cedwir mynediad i drigolion a’r gwasanaethau brys cyhyd ag y bo hynny’n rhesymol ymarferol).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

SECTION 14 (1)(A) (AS AMENDED)

FAIRWATER WAY, FAIRWATER, CWMBRAN

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the County Borough Council of Torfaen in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along a section of the bus terminus, Fairwater Way, Fairwater, Cwmbran.

The alternative route is along Fairwater Way and viceversa. (Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained as far as is reasonably practicable).

The prohibition is necessary because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to allow cherry picker access for maintenance works.

The proposed Order will operate from 22:00hrs Friday 28th August to 05:00hrs Saturday 29th August 2026 for 1 night and any other days deemed necessary within a period not exceeding 18 months.
