NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Parsonage Lane, North Mymms from its junction with Huggins Lane north westwards to its junction with Pooleys Lane, a distance of approximately 241m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Huggins Lane and Pooleys Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order will come into effect from 3 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 2 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing And Waiting Restrictions On Cranborne Road, Potters Bar) Order 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Cranborne Road, Potters Bar from its westernmost junction with B556 Mutton Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 42m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B556 Mutton Lane and Cranborne Road.
Additionally, all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

Temporary Traffic Management Measures On Heronfield And The Footpath Fronting Nos. 24-28 Heronfield, Potters Bar) Order 2026
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of which will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Heronfield, Potters Bar from its junction with Hatfield Road north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
Additionally, all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road, whilst works are in progress.
2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath fronting Nos.24-28 Heronfield, Potters Bar from its junction with Heronfield north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length ("the Footpath").
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road and Footpath.
The Order will come into effect from 7 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 6 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road and Footpath.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the layby situated on the south east side of A1000 High Street, Potters Bar from its northernmost junction with A1000 High Street south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length, ("the Layby").
An alternative route will be via A1000 High Street.
Additionally, all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time within the Layby, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Layby.
The Order will come into effect from 7 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Layby.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycle track situated on the north side of A414 Hertford Road, Hatfield from its junction with Gypsy Lane south westwards to its junction with Bush Hall Lane, a distance of approximately 861m ("the Cycle Track").
An alternative route will be via Gypsy Lane, Ascots Lane, A1000 Chequers, Mill Green Lane and Bush Hall Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycle Track.
The Order will come into effect from 7 September 2026 and will be valid for a period of 6 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Cycle Track.

1. that length of Cattlegate Road, Cuffley from its junction with B156 Northaw Road West south eastwards for a distance of approximately 1269m.
An alternative route will be via B156 (Northaw Road West/Judges Hill/Coopers Lane/The Causeway), A1000 High Street, A111 Southgate Road, A1005 The Ridgeway, East Lodge Lane and Cattlegate Road.
2. that length of Coopers Lane Road, Potters Bar/Northaw from its junction with B156 Coopers Lane south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Cattlegate Road, a distance of approximately 3481m.
An alternative route will be via B156 (Coopers Lane/Judges Hill/Northaw Road West) and Cattlegate Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads"):-
1. that length of A1000 Bessemer Road, Welwyn Garden City from its junction with A1000 Mundells south westwards for a distance of approximately 376m.
An alternative route will be via A1000 (Mundells/Bessemer Road/Hertford Road/Welwyn Bypass Road), B197 (Welwyn Bypass Road/Digswell Hill/Great North Road), B653 Stanborough Road, A6129 (Stanborough Road/Broadwater Road) and A1000 (Broadwater Road/Bessemer Road).
2. that length of B195 Black Fan Road, Welwyn Garden City from its junction with A1000 Mundells south eastwards to its junction with Brownfields, a distance of approximately 107m.
An alternative route will be via A1000 Mundells, Herns Way, Herns Lane and B195 Black Fan Road.
3. that length of B1000 Waterside, Welwyn Garden City from its junction with A1000 Mundells north eastwards to its junction with Crookhams, a distance of approximately 118m.
An alternative route will be via A1000 Mundells, Herns Way, Herns Lane and B1000 (Hertford Road/Waterside).
4. that length of Herns Way, Welwyn Garden City from its junctions with Windhill north westwards to its junction with A1000 Mundells, a distance of approximately 233m.
An alternative route will be via Herns Way, Herns Lane, B195 Black Fan Road and A1000 Mundells.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

An alternative route will be via A111 Southgate Road, A1000 Barnet Road and Hill Rise.
3. that length of Park Avenue, Potters Bar from its junction with A111 Southgate Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m.
An alternative route will be via A111 Southgate Road, Oakmere Avenue, Carpenter Way and Park Avenue.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing gas main is proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 24 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 21 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

1. that length of Canonsfield Road, Pottersheath/Welwyn from its junction with Heath Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with B197 Great North Road, a distance of approximately 793m.
An alternative route will be via B197 (Mardley Hill/London Road) and Heath Road.
or via Heath Road and B197 (London Road/Mardley Hill).
2. that length of Mardleybury Road, Woolmer Green from its junction with B197 London Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 401m.
An alternative route will be via B197 London Road, Watton Road, C29 (unnamed road), Watton Road, Hertford Road, A602 Broadhall Way, Bragbury Lane, Bury Lane, Brookbridge Lane, Datchworth Green and Mardleybury Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 25 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 18 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.
