(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be;
(i) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along GARRETTS GREEN LANE, GARRETTS GREEN between its junction with Granby Avenue and its junction with Mickleton Avenue.
(ii) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along BROMFORD DRIVE, BROMFORD & HODGE HILL between its junction with Chipperfield Road and its junction with Bromford Road.
(iii) to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along THE RADLEYS, GLEBE FARM & TILE CROSS between its junction with Bell Lane and its junction with Mackadown Lane.
The temporary Order is required to enable highway maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by this Order will be signposted and access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 1st September 2026 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
