The County of Cornwall (Road From Trengove Cross To Higher Brill, Brill, Constantine) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Constantine. This prohibition is necessary for chamber installation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th September 2026 to 22nd September 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Roads affected - Road From Trengove Cross To Higher Brill, Brill, Constantine for its entire length and Brill, Constantine between the properties named Tredwen and Pixies Corner. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Wendron. This prohibition is necessary for defect remedial works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th September 2026 to 18th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Roads affected - Penmarth, Carnmenellis between the junctions of Polhigey and Treweath, Road From Penmarth To Carnkie, Carnmenellis for its entire length and Carnkie, Wendron between grid reference SW71800 34707 and the junction of Rame Common. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Helston. This prohibition is necessary for safety fence repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th September 2026 to 21st September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.
Road affected -The Furry, Helston for its entire length. An alternative route will be signed on site. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 26th March 2026 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 25 in the Parish of St Just-in-Roseland, between grid references SW8568433746 and SW8539033346.
The Order which commenced on the 6th March 2026 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 5th March 2027. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 5th September 2026 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to slipped footpath. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Agnes. This prohibition is necessary for cabling and tree works and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th September 2026 to 18th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Grampound Road. This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th September 2026 to 16th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.
