NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF ORDER
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP & STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980

WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO 45 (PART) STONE RURAL PARISH
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2024 (2)

On 8/7/25 Staffordshire County Council confirmed the above order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the full width of that part of Public Footpath No 45 Stone Rural commencing at Grid Reference SJ 8995 3627 and running south-south-easterly for some 152 metres to Grid Reference SJ 9010 3623 onto a line commencing at Grid Reference SJ 9010 3623 and running north-north-easterly for some 3 metres to Grid Reference SJ 9010 3624 then turning west-north-westerly for some 140 metres to Grid Reference SJ 8997 3629 as shown on the Order Map. It will also modify the Definitive Map and Statement for Stafford Borough accordingly.

A copy of the Order as confirmed Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the offices of Staffordshire County Council, Corporate Reception, 1 Staffordshire Place, Stafford, ST16 2LP Mon-Fri. 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Copies of the Orders and maps may be bought there at the price of 10p per A4 page; £2 per map.

The order comes into force as from the date it is certified, but if any person aggrieved by the order wants to question the validity, or that any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended or Wildlife and Countryside Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirements of the Acts, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Acts, has not been complied with in relation to the order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of schedule 2 of the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of schedule 6 of the Act, within six weeks from 19/8/26, make application to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 18/8/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

The Order will come into operation on 24/8/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 28/8/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new electrical and pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles along:

The Order will come into operation on 7/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 9/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Acton Hill Ln, Acton Trussell. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB151040236. The Order will come into operation on 7/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 9/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the utility works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Cotwalton Ln, Hilderstone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB150860242. The Order will come into operation on 7/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 18/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pressure reduction valve works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY ORDER

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:

Sash Street, Stafford. The One Way Order on Sash Street, Stafford is temporarily suspended for the duration of this Order. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB150757612. The Order will come into operation on 7/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 9/9/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the core defect rectification works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT LIMIT

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to impose a temporary 7.5 tonne weight limit on:

Within Ln, Hopton Ln, Hopton Hall Ln and Willmore Hill Ln, Hopton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=GB145308482. The Order will come into operation on 4/9/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by June 2027. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Sandon Road realignment works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
