NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Childerley Footpath 2, Childerley Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-20278A

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Childerley Footpath 2, Childerley as lies between Boxworth Footpath 7 & Childerley Bridleway 1. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate solar farm installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 29/11/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 30/6/28 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 29/11/26 & 30/6/28.

Ferrars Way, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20918

It is anticipated that these works will take place between 20:00hrs and 06:00hrs 21/9 to 27/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works and any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Kings Hedges Road, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20939

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Campkin Road & Ramsden Square. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area B (Consolidation) Order 1993 as amended by The City of Cambridge Area B (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 32) Order 2003. Schedule 23 Cycle lane: Part 2 mandatory with flow cycle lane, Kings Hedges Road on its northeast side from its junction with Cambridge Regional College entrance to a point 44 metres northwest of the centreline of its junction with Milton Road is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs 7/9 to 8/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Kings Hedges Road, Cambridge are in progress. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Keynes Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20940

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Keynes Road, Cambridge as lies between Dudley Road & Access Road Between Keynes Road & Ekin Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Howard Rd; Keynes Rd & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 08:00hrs & 18:00hrs 1/9 to 2/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Chesterton Road A1303, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20941

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between No. 167 & Hamilton Road. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area A (Consolidation) Order 1993 as amended by The City of Cambridge Area A (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 152) Order 2007; Schedule 23 Part 2 Mandatory with flow cycle lanes, Chesterton Road on its north side from a point 28 metres west of the centreline of George Street for a distance of 33m in a westerly direction is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate sewer repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 28/9 & 2/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Chesterton Road A1303, Cambridge are in progress. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Beaufort Place To Riverside Walkway, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-20944

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Beaufort Place To Riverside Walkway, Cambridge as lies between La Mimosa & Magdalene Street. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate essential maintenance & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 1/9/26 & 28/2/27, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Newmarket Road A1134, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-20945

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between Ditton Walk & Cut Throat Lane. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area D (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 10) Order 1997; 5. The Order of 1993 shall be amended & have effect as though in Schedule 23 (cycle lane) Part 2 (mandatory with flow cycle lane) all references to Newmarket Road was deleted & substituted by the following: Newmarket Road – On the southern side of the carriageway from its junction with Barnwell Road to a point 75 metres east of the centreline of Swann’s Road is hereby suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas connections & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 14/9 & 16/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Newmarket Road A1134, Cambridge are in progress. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Wimpole Road, Great Eversden Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20948

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Wimpole Road, Great Eversden as lies between No. 18 & High Street. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical service installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 7/9 & 11/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 10:00hrs and 14:30hrs 21/9 and 23/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on Huntingdon Road A1307, Cambridge are in progress.
