THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (KILSBY TO OLD STRATFORD, WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A5 Trunk Road, between Kilsby and Old Stratford, in West Northamptonshire to enable maintenance works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close any layby adjacent to the A5, between its roundabout junction with the A422 Deanshanger Road, the A508 and Towcester Road (Old Stratford Roundabout) at Old Stratford, and its roundabout junction with the A428 and the A5 (Halfway House Roundabout) at Kilsby.
The laybys will be closed in phases between 13:00 hours and 06:00 hours. The work is expected to start on Monday 14 September 2026 and continue for approximately 3 weeks. The Order will come into force on 7 September 2026.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.

THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (GRENDON, WARWICKSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A5 Trunk Road, at Grendon, in the County of Warwickshire, to enable repair works to be carried out by Severn Trent.
The effect of the Order will be to close the service road adjacent to the eastbound carriageway of the A5 between house number 125 Watling Street and house number 143 Watling Street, at Grendon.
The work will be carried out between 08:00 hours and 16:00 hours only and is expected to start on Thursday 10 September 2026 and continue for two days. The Order will come into force on 7 September 2026.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closure. Access to properties will be maintained at all times.
