NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

Main Street, Hardwick Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20919

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Main Street, Hardwick as lies between No. 75 & St Mary’s Court. Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via Cambridge Rd, Hardwick; St Neots Rd; St Neots Rd, Comberton; Long Rd; B1046 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 7/9 & 9/9/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.

Alconbury Weston Road; Hamerton Road C106 & Coppingford Road,

Buckworth Temporary 40mph & 30mph Speed Limit – Order 2026-20927

Is to impose a 40mph & 30mph speed limit along Alconbury Weston Road; Hamerton Road C106 & Coppingford Road, Buckworth as lies between junctions of Buckworth Footpath 6; Hamerton Road C106 & Holly Lodge Farm; Hamerton Road C106 & Buckworth Bridleway 8 respectively. The Order will be effective, for safety purposes, when signs are in place indicating the speed limit along the whole or any part of the above mentioned length of road whilst works are in progress or temporarily suspended. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate scaffolding & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway. It is anticipated that these works will take place between 21/9 & 16/10/26, when the restriction is expected to be in operation. The Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months from the date it comes into effect to permit the works & any associated contingencies including delays or phased delivery of the works.
