TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD ORDER 2026
On the 3rd August 2026 The East Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on Kirktonmoor Road, Eaglesham, in order to facilitate the essential carriageway resurfacing works scheduled to be carried out between Monday 21st September to Friday 2nd October 2026. The closure will only be in place between the contractors working hours 08:30 – 16:00. There will be no weekend working.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Alternative Route: Moor Road – Polnoon Street – B676 Gilmour Street – Glasgow Road – Humbie Road – Bonnyton Moor Road and Vice-Versa
