THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(PERTON ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on Perton Road at its junction with
Wightwick Bank and Mill Lane.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken on 29th August 2026, between the
hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only.
The diversion route is: Wightwick Bank, Bridgnorth
Road, Tinacre Hill and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate works for a new
service connection by Severn Trent Water.
