Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
B2027 Stocks Green Road, Hildenborough, TN11 9AL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2027 Stocks Green Road, Hildenborough, on or after 25th August 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 17. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2027 Leigh Road, B245 Tonbridge Road, B245 London Road, Watts Cross Road, Rings Hill, B2027 Stocks Green Road and vice versa.
Baltic Road, Tonbridge, TN9 2JX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Baltic Road, Tonbridge, on or after 8th September 2026 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 69A. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Drive, A2014 Pembury Road, Deakin Leas and vice versa.
Beech Road, East Malling, ME19 6DF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow underground cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Beech Road, East Malling, on or after 25th August 2026 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with Lime Crescent for approximately 25 metres in a South direction, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
Plaxdale Green Road, Stansted, TN15 7NT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Plaxdale Green Road, Stansted, on or after 26th August 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed approximately 20 metres North of property number 3. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Labour In Vain Road, Tumblefield Road, Plaxdale Green Road and vice versa.
Ryarsh Road, Birling, ME19 5JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ryarsh Road, Birling, on or after 7th September 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between The Courtyard and Masters Lane, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ryarsh Road, Bull Road, Birling Road, A228 Leybourne By Pass, A228 Ashton Way, A20 London Road, Roughetts Road, The Street, Birling Road and vice versa.
School Lane, Plaxtol, TN15 0QF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of School Lane, Plaxtol, on or after 26th August 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Chapel House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Street, Long Mill Lane, The Hurst, Oxenheath Road, Park Road, Hamptons Road, School Lane and vice versa.
Stone Street Road, Ivy Hatch, TN15 0NJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow meter and flow restrictor replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stone Street Road, Ivy Hatch, on or after 24th August 2026 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Sandy Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stone Street Road, High Cross Road, A227 Tonbridge Road, A227 Bates Hill, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A25 Ightham Bypass, A25 Sevenoaks Road, A25 Maidstone Road, A25 High Street, Park Lane, Grove Road, Hall Hill, Stone Street and vice versa.
