Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2026
On 19 August 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of the eastern arm of C250 High Road, West Byfleet that extends from the eastern side of its eastern junction with A245 Parvis Road, a distance of 100m, to its junction with the western arm of C250 High Road at its eastern junction with A245 Parvis Road. 2. Suspend the “Surrey County Council High Road (C250) West Byfleet Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” in its entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable Affinity Water to carry out water mains repair and/or maintenance and/or associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4pm within 5 days of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Parvis Road, Oyster Lane and High Road.
Saunders Lane (D3680) Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 14 August 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Saunders Lane (D3680) Woking as extends from its junction with Goose Lane (D3781) to its junction with Hook Heath Road (D3680); and 2. suspend “The Surrey County Council Saunders Lane (D3680) Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” insofar as it relates to the length of road in 1.
Alternative route – Blackhorse Road and B380 (Smarts Heath Road), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Circet UK Ltd to facilitate pole replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 2 September 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Mill Lane (D3772) Byfleet
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Mill Lane (D3772) Byfleet as extends from the eastern boundary of “Manor Farm” as the road heads eastbound towards the end of the road.
There is no alternative route for this closure.
This Order is required to enable O2 to facilitate the installation and removal of a trackway for telecoms maintenance and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out over two phases during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 14 September 2026 between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. The first phase is anticipated to start on 14 September 2026 for 2 days. The second phase is anticipated to start on 7 October 2026 for 1 day. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents will be maintained, although there may be delays.
