PROVISION OF DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES, WAITING RESTRICTIONS, WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND THE PROVISION OF A LOADING BAY ON PARTS OF EDGE HILL, GILBOURNE ESTATE (GEOFFREY COVEY HOUSE), GLYNDON ESTATE (INVERMORE PLACE), LEMMON ROAD, DAHLIA ROAD (MARSHLAND HOUSE), MILNES ESTATE (RUTLAND HOUSE), PRIOR STREET GARAGES & RIDEOUT STREET (MURRAY HOUSE)
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Greenwich (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to provide parking controls as shown within those lengths of housing estate road detailed below:
Edge Hill - To introduce double yellow line no waiting at any time restrictions along the front of garages of the block numbered 38-156 Edge Hill.
Geoffrey Covey House, Gilbourne Estate – This is a new build on Housing land with a proposal for one single disabled bay.
Glyndon Estate, Invermore Place – (Estate Zone HE09 Permit Holders) - To convert a parking bay into a disabled bay.
Lemmon Road – (Estate Zone HW08 Permit Holders) - To convert two parking bays into disabled bays.
Marshland House, Dahlia Road – To provide 7 disabled spaces and no waiting at any time restrictions.
Milnes Estate, at Rutland House - To convert an existing parking bay into a disabled bay for a disabled resident.
Prior Street Garages - To introduce double yellow line no waiting at any time restrictions, no loading and unloading restrictions and one loading bay with maximum stays of 40 minutes at the rear of 38-42 Prior Street. The loading bay will allow vehicles delivering to the shops at 86–94 Royal Hill to load/unload in the garage area.
Rideout Street, at Murray House (Estate Zone HC27 Permit Holders) - To convert an existing parking bay into a disabled bay for a disabled resident at Murray House.
3. A copy of the proposed Order, and other documents including plans, can be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Fridays inclusive at the Woolwich Centre Library, The Woolwich Centre, 35 Wellington Street, London SE18 6HQ or email to estate-parking@royalgreenwich.gov.uk (quoting reference RBG/H/P4DTMO).

5. Any person who wishes to object to or make other representations about the proposed Order, should send a statement in writing by 8 September 2026, specifying the grounds on which any objection is made by email to estate-parking@royalgreenwich.gov.uk (quoting reference RBG/H/ P4DTMO).
6. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that in view of current access to information legislation, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this notice, open to public inspection.
