Council propose to make this under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce in Buckfast & Buckfastleigh: 20mph Limit on specified lengths of Access to Newson Buildings, Barn Park, Bossell Park, Bossell Road, Bridge Street, Chapel Street, Church Street, Coxhill Cross To Tweenaways, Crest Hill, Duckspond Road, Elliott Plain, Elm Bank, Fairy Lane, Fore Street, Fullaford Park, Gipsy Lane, Glebelands, Holne Road, Jordan Street, Little Bossell Lane, Mardle Way, Market Close, Market Street, Moorland View, New Road, Newcause, Oaklands Park, Oaklands Road, Plymouth Road, Rangers Close, Silver Street, Station Road, Timbers Road, Tweenaways, Wallaford Road & West End Road;
30mph Limit (currently restricted road status) on specified lengths of Higher Mill Lane & Holne Road. For ease of reference existing restrictions
are in the draft order which may be seen with the order being revoked,
plan & statement of reasons at devon.cc/tro. Free bookable computer use is available during the opening hours of Devon Libraries. Documents
are also available to view during normal office hours at the address below.
Objections & other comments specifying the proposal & the grounds
on which they are made must be in writing to the address below or via
devon.cc/tro to arrive by 11 September 2026. Receipt of submissions may not be acknowledged but those received will be considered. If you
make a submission be aware that comments will be anonymised prior to
being sent to Highways & Traffic Orders Committee (HATOC) members
for consideration or being published on our website. Data may be shared
within the Council & with our partner agencies. Personal details will be
