EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Titchfield Street,Standalane Street, Galston) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026

On 18 August 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Scottish Power Works.

No Waiting At Any Time - Titchfield Street, Standalane Street, Galston

Titchfield Street - From No.75 Titchfield Street to junction with Craigie Place (100m - both sides of carriageway) Standalane Street - From No.3 Standalane Street to junction of Titchfield Street (50m).

The Order commences on 31 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 31 August 2026 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 11 September 2026 at 17:00. Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

(U26, Dunlop) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026

On 18 August 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order,to allow BT Works.

Temporary Road Closure – U26, Dunlop, For 1342m from its junction with the C7 to the junction with Meikle Mosside.

The Order commences on 01 September 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 01 September 2026 at 08:00 until 07 September 2026 at 17:00.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained.

An alternative route will be signed via C7 - A735 and vice versa.

(Various Roads, Kilmarnock) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026

On 18 August 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow waiting restrictions to be put in place on match days at Rugby Park, Kilmarnock.

The restrictions will on be implemented on match days when the appropriate signs are displayed.

On 13 August 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order in support of the International Air Show.

The Order commences on 03 September 2026.The Event restrictions are expected to commence from 03 September 2026 at 00:01 until 05 September 2026 at 23:59.

The Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed. Emergency Services access will not be affected.

Access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians within the Restricted Areas will be maintained via permit system. Stewards will be in place at accesses to allow entry to residents and deliveries with appropriate pass or delivery note for residents within the Event area.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Glenburn Road, Prestwick) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026

On 13th August 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Demolition Works.

Temporary Road Closure – Glenburn Road, Prestwick From junction with Sherwood Road for 65m
The Order commences on 01 September 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 01 September 2026 at 08:00 until 23 October 2026 at 17:00.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Access for Emergency Services,residents and deliveries outwith the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.

An alternative route will be signed via Sherwood Road, Shaw Road, Shawfarm Road, Glenburn Road and vice versa.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(U52, Pinwherry) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026

On 13 August 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow road resurfacing works to be undertaken.

Temporary Road Closure – U52, Pinwherry - Full length from its junction with Barrhill Road / Main Street.

The Order commences on 31 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 31 August 2026 at 08:00 until 25 September 2026 at 17:00.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when possible to do so.
