What is happening?

CASTLE HILL ST. TEMPORARY CLOSURES

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S.14

The Council has made an order, operative from 24 August 2026 for 5 days approx, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Castle Hill Street from Tonge Moor Rd to Back Tonge Moor Rd and on Back Tonge Moor Road from Castle Hill St to the rear of No.389 Tonge Moor Rd, to allow electricity works to take place. The Order will also revoke the one way traffic restriction on Back Tonge Moor Rd from Castle Hill St to Castleton St. The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
