What is happening?

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

(ACLE, CAVELL ROAD, KEMP AVENUE AND MARTIN WAY) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 2026

Norfolk County Council has made the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on the 10th August 2026, which comes into operation on the 17th August 2026, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 20 miles per hour along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.

A copy of the Order and a plan can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of Broadland District Council, Horizon Business Centre, Peachman Way, Norwich, NR7 0WF, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.

U51728 Cavell RoadFrom its junction with U51271 Glover Road eastwards for its entire loop including its turning heads, a distance of 564 metres.
U51730 Kemp AvenueFrom the mid-point of its junction with U51728 Cavell Road north-westwards and eastwards for its entire length, a distance of 272 metres.
U51729 Martin WayFrom the mid-point of its junction with U51728 Cavell Road westwards for its entire length, a distance of 64 metres.
