What is happening?

FLACKETS LANE, SUDBURY, GROVE LANE, DOVERIDGE
WHEN: 08 September to 03 October 2026 (Night working only between 19:00 to 05:00).
WHERE: Flackets Lane, Sudbury, Grove Lane, Doveridge, road bridges over A50.
REASON: To facilitate bridge deck replacement works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road Sudbury, A515 Ashbourne Road, Oak Lane, Hollyhurst Lane, Waldley Lane, Marston Lane, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
