Sides Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Bt Pole Replacements
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SIDES LANE, SNELSTON
WHEN: 07 September and 08 September 2026 (between 09:30 and 15:30 each day).
WHERE: Sides Lane, Snelston 150m south from Jct. with Sprinkswood Lane.
REASON: To facilitate BT pole replacements.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Sides Lane, B5053, A515, Cock Hill, Sides Lane, Littlefield Lane, Church Lane, Windmill Lane, A515, Cock Hill, Sides Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
