What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SCROPTON ROAD, MAIN STREET, LEATHERSLEY LANE, SCROPTON
WHEN: 09 September to 25 September 2026 (7 days only within these dates).
WHERE: Scropton Road, Main Street, Leathersley Lane, Scropton between Hatton and the A515.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Scropton Road, Station Road, Bridge Street, Tutbury Bypass, Monk Street, Castle Street, The Close, Park Lane, Owens Bank, Fauld Lane, Coton Lane, Lichfield Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
