Windley, Belper - Temporary Road Closure To Replacement Of Existing Pole
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE WINDLEY, BELPER
WHEN: 10 September to 11 September 2026 (Between 09:30 to 15:00).
WHERE: Windley, Belper, from approx. 1250m north of Gunhills Lane for approx. 140m.
REASON: To facilitate the replacement of existing pole.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Windley, Windley Lane, Ashbourne Road, Wirksworth Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
