Etwall Road - Temporary Road Closure To Pole Replacement
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ETWALL ROAD, EGGINTON
WHEN: 09 September to 10 September 2026
WHERE: Etwall Road, Egginton between Boundary Road and Hilton Road.
REASON: To facilitate pole replacement.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Egginton Road, Hilton Road, Derby Road, Unnamed Section of A5132 from Derby Road to Egginton Road, Etwall Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re- open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
