RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol ar hyd y Ffordd Di-Ddosbarth a adwaenir fel Ffordd Caerdydd Isaf, Pwllheli yn ei gyfanrwydd.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar gyfer gwaith gosod pibell nwy. Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad dwyreiniol ar Yr Ala (A497) yna cymryd y 3ydd allanfa yng nghylchfan Y Maes.

Teithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol ar Y Maes yna Penrhydlyniog hyd at y caead. Bydd mynediad i’r busnesau ar gael i gerbydau sydd yn teithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol ar Ffordd Caerdydd Isaf. 

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar yr 22ain o Fedi 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na un mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 4 diwrnod.

TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(UNCLASSIFIED ROAD KNOWN AS LOWER CARDIFF ROAD, PWLLHELI)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in a north westerly direction along the Unclassified Road known as Lower Cardiff Road, Pwllheli in its entirety.

The Order is necessary to install a gas pipe.

The alternative route is to travel easterly on Ala Road (A497) then take the 3rd exit at the Maes Square roundabout. Travel south westerly on Y Maes and Penrhydlyniog up to the closure. Access to businesses will be maintained for vehicles travelling in a north easterly direction on Lower Cardiff Road.

The Order comes into effect on the 22nd of September, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 4 days.
