RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Nantyffyllon wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), heb fod dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, yn bwriadu creu Gorchymyn a fydd yn cyflwyno, dros dro, y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod.
Mae'r Gorchymyn er diogelwch y cyhoedd oherwydd gwaith draenio ac am nad yw’r lôn gerbydau’n ddigon llydan i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau tra bo’r gwaith yn mynd rhagddo.
Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 26/08/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am hyd at 18 mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, p'un bynnag sydd gynharaf.
Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud o 26 Awst 2026 tan 01 Tachwedd 2026.
Atodlen - Ni chaiff neb beri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd cyffordd Tonna Road/Bedw Street i gyffordd Magazine Street/Bedw Street, Nantyfyllon. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw ar hyd Tonna Road, Dyffryn Road, Hermon Road ac i’r gwrthwyneb.
Bydd mynediad trwy ardal y cyfyngiad i’r Heddlu a’r Gwasanaethau Tân ac Ambiwlans wrth ymateb i argyfyngau. Cynhelir mynediad i gerddwyr at bob eiddo o fewn ardal y cyfyngiad ar hyd llwybrau a ddiffinnir trwy gydol y cyfnod cau.
Fodd bynnag, bydd y cyfyngiadau’n berthnasol dim ond ar adegau ac i’r graddau a ddangosir o bryd i’w gilydd ar arwyddion traffig a osodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(BEDW STREET, NANTYFYLLON) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Nantyfyllon in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is in the interest of public safety due to drainage works and there is insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during works.
The Order will come into force on the 26/08/2026 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
It is anticipated that the planned works will be undertaken from 26 August 2026 to 01 November 2026.
Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along junction Tonna Road/Bedw Street to junction Magazine Street/Bedw Street, Nantyfyllon.
The alternative route for vehicles is via Tonna Road, Dyffryn Road, Hermon Road and vice versa.
Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies.
Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
