(WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.8) ORDER 2026
106100 - VARIOUS ROADS IN BRADFORD SOUTH AREA
NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 11 August 2026 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which is to -
A. In Great Horton Ward:
1. reduce the length of a loading bay on Bakes St;
2. introduce “School Keep Clear” marking on Cemetery Road;
3. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of Kenley Parade and Kenley Ave; and
4. remove a disabled parking bay from a length of Lidget Place.
B. In Queensbury Ward:
1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of Micklemoss Drive, Fleet Lane, and Weston Ave.
C. In Royds Ward:
2. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of Reevy Ave, Wibsey Park Ave, Western Way.
D. In Tong Ward:
1. introduce “no waiting at any time” lengths of Alred Court, Bierley Ln, Holme Ln, and Mountleigh Close.
E. In Wibsey Ward:
1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of Raymond St (including a length of existing limited waiting), Haycliffe Ln, and Watty Hall Ave.
F. In Wyke Ward:
1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of Wynford Way, Belmont Crescent, Mayfield Ave, Huddersfield Rd, Mayfield Terrace, Mayfield View, Worthing Head Rd, Worthing Head Close, Balme Ln, Leonard St, and Worthing St;
2. introduce “permit parking” on Glenfield Mount; and
3. remove a disabled parking bay from a length of Cleckheaton Rd.
The Order comes into force on 15 August 2026. A copy of it together with documents giving more detailed particulars may be examined during normal office hours at: the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY. Copies are also on the Council’s website at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order, and can be obtained from Shahid Aziz, Traffic Engineer – Traffic & Road Safety South by email shahid.aziz@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number HS/TRSS/BS/106100/SA.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. 11 August 2026) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
