(WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.7) ORDER 2026

105863 - VARIOUS ROADS IN SHIPLEY AREA

NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 11 August 2026 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which is to -

A. In Baildon Ward:

1. convert a length of “limited waiting Mon to Sat 8am-6pm, 30mins no return within 1hr” on Browgate into a disabled person’s parking bay.

B. In Bingley East Ward:

1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of Clarendon Rd; Beck Ln; Sycamore Ave; Ferncliffe Rd;

2. remove a length of “no waiting at any time” from Mornington Rd; and

3. reduce lengths of existing parking bays on Sycamore Ave.

C. In Bingley West Ward:

1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of the following roads: Castlefields Rd; Mill Field Rd; Lodge St; Lodge Court; Lingbob Mill Fold; and Grange Park Drive; and

2. introduce “no waiting at and no loading at any time” on a length of Keighley Rd.

D. In Shipley Ward:

1. introduce “limited waiting Mon to Sun 8am-3pm, 2hrs no return within 30mins” on a length of Ashley Ln;

2. introduce “no waiting at any time” lengths of Nab Wood Drive; Hill Foot; St Paul’s Rd; Victoria Rd; and Titus St;

3. introduce “limited waiting Mon to Sat 8am-6pm, 2hrs no return within 1hr” on a length of St Paul’s Rd; and

4. introduce a disabled person’s parking bay on St Paul’s Rd.

E. In Wharfedale Ward:

1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of Sun Ln; Maria St; Langford Ln; Leathley Ave; Far Mead Croft; and Greystone Close.

F. In Windhill and Wrose Ward:

1. introduce “no waiting at any time” on lengths of Owlet Rd; Westfield Ln; Kingsway; and Cotswold Ave; and

2. remove lengths of “no waiting at any time” from Leeds Rd.

The Order comes into force on 15 August 2026. A copy of it together with documents may be examined during normal office hours at: the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY. Copies are also on the Council’s website at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order, and can be obtained from Craig Williams, Senior Engineer – Traffic & Road Safety (North), by email craig.williams@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number HS/THN/105863.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. 11 August 2026) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
