ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(BRINGTON ROAD, LONG BUCKBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Brington Road, Long Buckby as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Brington Road, Long Buckby from the junction of High Stack to Skin Yard Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pressure post installation.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 31st August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use High Stack, Hal Drive, High Street and Brington Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (KILN LANE, WELTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Kiln Lane, Welton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Kiln Lane, Welton from the junction of High Street to Halford Way.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during survey works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Kiln Lane, Daventry Road and Churchill Way.

(NETHER HEYFORD ROAD, STOKE IX CHURCHES)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Nether Heyford Road, Stoke IX Churches as set out below. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Nether Heyford Road, Stoke IX Churches from the junction of A5 to Upper Stowe Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during meter exchange works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 3 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Main Street, Farthingstone Road, Preston Capes Road, Main Street, Farthingstone Road and A5.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Station Road, Welton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Station Road, Welton from the junction of Crockwell Hill to High Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 19th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of West Haddon Road, Watford as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of West Haddon Road, Watford from the junction of FF8 to FF12.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

(VARIOUS ROADS, LONG BUCKBY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of the various roads in Long Buckby as specified in the Schedule below.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during drainage works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th August 2026 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for up to 5 days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Market Place, King Street, West Street, Murcott, Long Buckby Road, Main Street, Station Road, A5 and A428.
