30 Mph Speed Limit, Various Roads, Sessay & Hutton Sessay, Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph on any length of road specified in Schedule 1 below. The order specified in Column 1 of Schedule 2 below is to be revoked in its entirety:-

Schedule 1 - Various Roads In The Parish of Sessay - 30 Mph Speed Limit

Church Lane, Hutton Sessay, from its junction with Low Lane in a south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 158 metres.

Church Lane, Sessay, from both of its junctions with the C179 in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 150 metres.

Hutton Sessay Village (C99), from its junction with Low Lane in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 422 metres.

Low Lane, from its junction with Church Lane in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 115 metres.

Race Lane, from its junction with Church Lane (eastern arm) in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 212 metres.

Road To Little Sessay (U1792), for its entirety.

Sessay To Little Sessay (C179), from its junction with Church Lane (eastern arm) in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 408 metres.

The Council of The County of North Yorkshire (40mph Speed Limit) (Hutton Sessay) Order 1986 - In its entirety.
