(B7059 STATION ROAD, WEST LINTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (B7059 Station Road, West Linton) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 20 August 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. The Order is required for BT works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B7059 Station Road, West Linton.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the B7059, A701, A72, A721, A702 and B7059 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

REGULATION) NO 2 ORDER 2026
The Scottish Borders Council (A72 Peebles Road, Walkerburn) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) No 2 Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 24 August 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 4 September 2026, as detailed below. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect on the A72 Peebles Road, Walkerburn from the Peebles side of Walkerburn at the 20mph speed limit signs to Tweedvale Mills West for approximately 663 metres, no person shall:
(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle exceeding 7.5T from 24 August to 28 August and from 31 August to 4 September 2026. The alternative eastbound route for vehicles 7.5T and over is via the A72, A703, A6094, B6392, A7 and A72 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing;
(b) permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked from 24 August to 28 August and from 31 August to 4 September 2026; and
(c) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle at a speed exceeding 10mph from 24 August to 28 August and from 31 August to 4 September 2026.
