Order made: To close that part of U60402 Uckinghall from its junction with U60401 Ferry Ln for a distance of 315 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Drainage work/flood alleviation by WCC.
Alternative route: U60400 Uckinghall, C2213 Station Rd, C2213 School Ln, U60402 Uckinghall Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 17 August 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Footpaths AY-577, Abberley & AD-523, Astley & Dunley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 5 March 2026 the effect of which is to close the entire lengths of Footpaths AY-577, Abberley & AD-523, Astley & Dunley from their junction with footpath AY-573 at Birch Hall (grid ref: 377446, 269005) to their junction with Footpaths AD-525 & AD-531 (grid ref: 377943, 269055), which was due to expire on 20 August 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 20 February 2028 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Order has been made due to a dangerous bridge.
Alternative route: There is no suitable alternative route.
(Various Roads Pound Bank & Poolbrook, Malvern Hills District) (30 & 40 mph Speed Limit) (Revocation and Proposal) Order 2026
On 30 July 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to update the speed limit on the following lengths of roads in:
Malvern Hills District:
30 miles per hour
C2102 Chance Lane, Pound Bank/Poolbrook: from a point 30 metres north of its junction with B4211 Guarlford Road for a distance of 690 metres in a north westerly direction.
40 miles per hour
B4211 Guarlford Road: from a point 35 metres east of its junction with U633323 (Hall Green) in a westerly direction to a point 30 metres east of its junction with UC63310 (Eston Avenue).
B4208 Poolbrook Road: from a point 95 metres south of its junction with UC63000 (Peachfield Road) in a northerly direction to a point 20 metres south of its junction with UC63138 (Hayes Bank Road).
UC63000 Peachfield Road: from a point 30 metres east of its junction with UC63139 (Longridge Road) in an easterly direction to its junction with B4208 (Poolbrook Road).
There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 20 August 2026.
