(Hagg Hill, Cold Norton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hagg Hill, Cold Norton in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Stow Road for a distance of approximately 70m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WH2G7D7K – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Hackmans Lane, Stow Road and vice versa (with access only into Hagg Hill).

The Order will come into effect on 20th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Green Lane, Latchingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Green Lane, Latchingdon in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 140m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th September 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEAA6268109SB – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole and cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Green Lane, Highlands Hill, Foxhall Road, Steeple Road, David Fisher Way, B1018 and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 20th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Maypole Road, Great Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maypole Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 505m north east of its junction with Captains Wood Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th September 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001FBD7E155 – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.

An alternative route is available via Maypole Road, The Street, Witham Road, Blue Mills Hill, B1018, B1020, Maypole Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 20th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Broad Street Green Road, Heybridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Broad Street Green Road, Heybridge in the District of Maldon, from the junction with Wood Road to the junction with Bluebell Avenue a distance of approximately 160m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2026 for 47 days (in phases), or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001515858 – Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.

An alternative route is available via B1022, B1023, B1026 and vice versa (with access only into Colchester Road and Broad Street Green Road).

The Order came into effect on 6th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Grange Lane, Tillingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Grange Lane, Tillingham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 190m east of its junction with Grange Road for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st August 2026 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013338542 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

(Sheepcotes Lane, Southminster) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sheepcotes Lane, Southminster in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Queenborough Road for a distance of approximately 125m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st August 2026 for 22 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001504008 – Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.

No diversion route is available.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Workhouse Lane, Woodham Ferrers in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 40m north east of its junction with Willow Grove for a distance of approximately 100m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WH1P6G9Z – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
