Proposed Provision and Amendments to Traffic Orders at various locations within Llanbradach, Caerphilly, Newbridge, Risca, Tir-y-berth and Cwmfelinfach.
NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council (the'Council') in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the '1984 Act') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (the'2004'Act) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part Ill of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act propose to make an Order the effect of which is to amend the Caerphilly County Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction ofWaiting and Loading and On Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2019 by the:
Proposed provision of Double Yellow lines (DYLs), New Road / Cardiff Road / Cwm-Yr-Allt Lane / Pwll Yr Allt,Tir-y-berth
• On the western side of New Road from its junction with Cwm-Yr-Allt Lane in a southerly direction for a distance of approx. 5m.
• On the southern side of Cwm-Yr-Allt Lane from its junction with New Road in a westerly direction for a distance of approx. 5m.
• On the northern side of Cwm-Yr-Allt Lane from its junction with New Road in a westerly direction for a distance of approx. 5m.
• On the western side of New Road from its junction with Cwm-Yr-Allt Lane in a northerly direction to its junction with Pwll Yr Allt a distance of approx. 140m.
• On the southern side of Pwll Yr Allt from its junction with New Road in a westerly direction fora distance of approx. 5m.
• On the northern side of Pwll Yr Allt from its junction with New Road in a westerly direction fora distance of approx. 5m.
• On the western side of Cardiff Road from its junction with Pwll Yr Allt in a northerly direction fora distance of approx. 55m.
• On the eastern side of Cardiff Road from a point approx. 55m north of its junction with Pwll Yr Allt in a southerly direction and into New Road to a point approx. 5m south of its junction with Cwm-Yr-Allt Lane, a distance of approx. 228m.
Revocation of existing DYLs and Proposed Provision of DYLs and Loading Bay Mon-Sat 8am — 6pm, Dol-y-Felin Street / Mill Road, Caerphilly
• Revocation of existing DYLs on the eastern side of Dol-y-Felin Street from its junction with Mill Road in a northerly direction fora distance of approx. 15m.
• Provision of DYLs on the western side of Dol-y-Felin Street form a point approx. 10 m north of its junction with Mill Road fora distance of approx. 6m.
• Provision of DYLs on the eastern side of Dol-y-Felin Street form a point approx. 10 m north of its junction with Mill Road in a northerly direction fora distance of approx. 15m.
• Provision of DYLs on the northern side of Mill Road from its junction with Dol-y-Felin Street in an easterly direction fora distance of approx. 15m. Provision of Loading Bay Mon-Sat 8am — 6pm on the eastern side of Dol-y-Felin Street form a point approx. 10 m north of its junction with Mill Road in a northerly direction fora distance of approx. 10m.
Revocation of existing DYLs and provision of School Keep Clear (SKC) markings, Mon-Fri 8am — 5pm Greenfield, Newbridge
• Revocation of existing DYLs on western side of Greenfield opposite No 80 and 81 fora distance of approx. 6m, opposite No's 86 and 87 fora distance of approx. 10m, opposite No 88 fora distance of approx. 19m and opposite Greenfield Bungalow and Greenfield Bungalow for a distance of approx. 14m.
• Provision of 2 School Keep Clear (SKC) markings on western side of Greenfield from a point 2m south opposite the common boundary of Nos 78/79 Greenfield Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 43.56m and 37.56m respectively.
Revocation of existing DYLs and provision of School Keep Clear (SKC) markings, Ashfield Road, Newbridge
• Revocation of existing DYLs on the southeastern side of Ashfield Road from the common boundary of No's 25/26 Ashfield Road in a southwesterly direction fora distance of 25.56m and from the common boundary of No's 31/32 Ashfield Road in a northeasterly direction fora distance of 25.56m.
• Provision of 2 School Keep Clear (SKC) markings on southeastern side of Ashfield road from the common boundary of No's 25/26 Ashfield Road in a southwesterly direction fora distance of 25.56m and from the common boundary of No's 31/32 Ashfield Road in a northeasterly. direction fora distance of 25.56m.
Proposed Provision of DYLs Oakfield Street and Victoria Street, Llanbradach
• On the northern side of Victoria Street from the existing DYLs outside No 1 Victoria Street in a westerly direction fora distance of approx. 3m.
• On the southern side of Victoria Street from the existing DYLs outside No 2 Victoria Street in a westerly direction fora distance of approx. 3m.
• On the northern side of Oakfield Street from the existing DYLs outside No 1/3 (Club) Oakfield Street in a westerly direction fora distance of approx. 12m. Proposed Provision of DYLs, Stanley Street, Melin Street and William Street, Cwmfelinfach
• On the eastern side of Stanley Street from the northern side of the entrance to the lane at the side of No 5 Stanley Street in a northerly direction for a distance of approx. 5m.
• On the eastern side of Stanley Street from the southern side of the entrance to the lane at the side of No 5 Stanley Street and outside No 5 Stanley Street in a southerly direction fora distance of approx. 5m.
• On the eastern side of Melin Street from the northern side of its junction with William Street (outside No 9 Melin Street) in a northerly direction fora distance of approx. 5m.
• On the eastern side of Melin Street from the southern side of its junction with William Street (Outside No 7 Melin Street) in a southerly direction fora distance of approx. 5m.
• On the northern side of William Street from its junction with Melin Street (to the side of No 9 Melin Street) in an easterly direction fora distance of approx. 5m.
• On the southern side of William Street from its junction with Melin Street (to the side of No 7 Melin Street) in an easterly direction for a distance of approx. 5m. Proposed Provision of Double Yellow Lines, Trafalgar Street, Risca
• On the southern side of Trafalgar Street outside No 11 Trafalgar Street from the bend and in an easterly direction for a distance of approx. 5m.
• On the eastern side of Trafalgar Street to the side of No 11 Trafalgar Street from the bend and in a southerly direction fora distance of approx. 5m.
Proposed Removal of Parklet and DYLs and provision of Disabled Persons Parking Place, Tredegar Street, Risca
• Revocation of existing DYLs on the western side of Tredegar Street from the existing Limited Waiting bay from the common boundary of Nos 49/50 Tredegar Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 6.6m.
• Provision of Disabled Persons Parking Place on the western side of Tredegar Street from the existing Limited Waiting bay outside the common boundary of Nos 49/50 Tredegar Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 6.6m.
