ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Parking Restrictions, Various Roads, Barnes

(Reference 26/152)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Various Roads, Barnes.

2. Whilst the works take place there will be parking restrictions in various roads which will operate on a rolling basis as per the table below the work will be completed in 5 phases.

3. The order will come into effect on 28 August 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 28 August until 27 November 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure

Wayside, East Sheen

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate utility works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Wayside, East Sheen.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Wayside, East Sheen from the junction with Sheen Lane to the junction with Christchurch Road.

3. The order will come into effect 25 August 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 25 August to 26 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Sheen Lane, Christchurch Road, Wayside, and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Cranetration works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in West Park Road, Kew.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in West Park Road, Kew from the junction with Mortlake Road to the junction with Beechwood Avenue.

3. The order will come into effect 25 August 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress on the 25 August 2026 only with a backup date of 01 September 2026 if required. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Beechwood Avenue, Mortlake Road, and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

3. The order will come into effect 24 August 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 24 August to 28 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Wills Crescent, Grasmere Road, and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
