Temporary Road Closure

Cross Street, Barnes

(Reference 26/148)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repair works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Cross Street, Barnes.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Cross Street, Barnes from outside number 8 to 22.

3. The order will come into effect 24 August 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 24 August to 28 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Archway Street, White Hart Lane, Charles Street, and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repair works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Haliburton Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Haliburton Road, Twickenham from outside numbers 80-96.

3. The order will come into effect 17 August 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 17 August to 18 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Heron Road, Newry Road, Northcote Road, and vice versa.

5.. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Hanworth Road, Hampton.

2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Hanworth Road, Hampton from outside and opposite numbers 195-211.

3. The order will come into effect on 24 August 2026. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 24 August 2026 to 28 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to remove obstructive parking and due to the likelihood of danger to the public, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Wyndham Crescent, Whitton.

2. Whilst the Order is in effect, waiting restrictions operating at any time will operate in lengths of Wyndham Crescent. Footway parking will be permitted in marked bays.

3. The order will come into effect on 24 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Strawberry Vale, & Clive Road, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place the Cycle Lane will be suspended in Strawberry Vale Twickenham both sides of the road from outside number 8 to 114.

3. The parking restrictions and road closures will operate on a rolling basis as per the table below.

4. The order will come into effect on 24 August 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 24 August until 09 October 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
