AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
CAMPBELL ROAD, QUEEN’S ROAD & SUTHERLAND ROAD, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
e) Parking bays on both sides of Queen’s Road between the common boundary of Nos. 95 and 97 and No. 113a Queen’s Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.
f) Campbell Road will be closed between its junctions with Bensham Lane and Broad Green Avenue.
g) Parking bays within the closure area in Campbell Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time.
- During the closures, the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure in Queen’s Road will be diverted to the opposite footway.
• Sutherland Road closure: Via Sutherland Road, Mitcham Road, Wentworth Road, and Canterbury Road, or via Dennet Road, London Road, and Midhurst Avenue, or via Canterbury Road, London Road, and Midhurst Avenue.
• Queen’s Road closure: Via Princess Road, Whitehorse Road, and Pawsons Road, or via Windmill Road, Whitehorse Road, and Pawsons Road, or via St Saviours Road, Lodge Road, and Windmill Road, or via Windmill Road, St James Road, London Road, Mayday Road, and Bensham Lane.
• Campbell Road closure: Via Bensham Lane, Mayday Road, London Road and reversed, or via London Road and Bensham Lane, or via Bensham Lane and Lodge Road.
- The Order will come into operation on 13 August 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 30 September 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
- These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ORCHARD ROAD CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
- Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate tram network maintenance works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Addiscombe Grove, Addiscombe Road, and Cherry Orchard Road, Croydon.
- Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Addiscombe Road will be closed between its junctions with Colson Road and Billinton Hill.
b) Addiscombe Grove will be closed between its junctions with Addiscombe Road.
c) Cherry Orchard Road will be closed between its junctions with Billinton Hill and Addiscombe Road.
- During the closure, traffic will be diverted as detailed via A222, Shirley Road, A232, and reversed.
- The Order will come into operation on 02 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
- The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.
(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
- The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such an extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
- Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate repairs to a broken cover on a water network valve box in the carriageway, on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Belmont Road, South Norwood.
- During the works, Belmont Road will be closed at its junction with Portland Road.
- Whilst the restriction remains in force the alternative routes for diverted vehicles will be as detailed below. Cyclists will be asked to dismount and use the pavement.
• Via Portland Road and Grasmere Road.
• Via Portland Road, Grasmere Road, and Albert Road.
- The Order will come into operation on 01 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed within three days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
- The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
- Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement work by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Alexandra Place, Davidson Road and Stretton Road, Croydon.
- Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) The entire length of Davidson Road will be closed in sections from 01 September to 02 November 2026.
b) Stretton Road will be closed at its junction with Davidson Road, from 14 September to 05 October 2026.
c) The entire length of Alexandra Place will be closed from 01 September to 14 September 2026.
- During the closures, the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below.
• Davidson Road and Alexandra Place closures: Via Lower Addiscombe Road, Morland Road, Stretton Road and reverse.
• Davidson Road and Stretton Road closures: Via Northway Road, Morland Road, Lower Addiscombe Road and reversed.
- The Order will come into operation on 01 September 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as detailed above.
- These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
