ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
(LILLIE ROAD AND THAXTON ROAD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate building works in the above-named location; it intends to make an Order the effect of which temporarily prohibit pedestrian traffic in a section of the above-named road.
2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed, no person shall enter or attempt to enter the private alleyway adjacent to Nos. 70-80 Lillie Road from:
a) its junction with Lillie Road; and
b) its junction with Thaxton Road.
3. An alternative route for traffic in article 4 shall be provided via Lillie Road, North End Road and Thaxton Road.
4. Exemptions would be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.
5. The Order would come into operation on the 14th September 2026 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
6. Works would be expected to commence on Monday 14th September 2026 and last to the 14th February 2027. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
