(Greenbank Road) (Parking Place For Loading & Unloading) Order, 2026.

Notice is hereby given that on the 11 August 2026, the Council made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 45 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to become operative on the 17 August 2026, the effect of which will be to introduce a loading & unloading parking place (Mon-Sun, 24 hours) on Greenbank Road, west side, from a point 24m north of its junction with Greenbank Lane for a distance of 12m in a north easterly direction. During the days and hours of operation for which vehicles may load and/or unload goods the driver, or other person in charge of a vehicle using a loading bay, shall not cause such vehicle to wait thereon other than whilst goods are being loaded or unloaded from the vehicle. In this Order, "loading and unloading" means the transference from (or to) a vehicle to (or from) premises adjacent to where the vehicle is parked of heavy or unmanageable Goods that are not designed to be carried by hand other than over a very short distance.

A copy of the Order, the plan and statement of the Council's reasons for making the same may be inspected at The Planning & Regulatory Team, City Law & Governance, Legal Services, 4th Floor, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH & at the offices of Transport & Highways, Parking and Traffic Orders Team, 4th Floor, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks from the 11 August 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose. Please ensure to quote the Ref: - LS/CLG/PRT/NRB/TRO 10583/TM 3648. in your correspondence.
