Rugby Avenue, Brent - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Connection Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)

RUGBY AVENUE

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2026

The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate access and egress for a water connection and associated works in Rugby Avenue, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Rugby Avenue, which lies between a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 5 and 7 Rugby Avenue and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 13 and 15 Rugby Avenue, when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to above will apply between 17th August 2026 and 21st August 2026 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 8.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Rugby Avenue will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
