TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC –
BRICK LANE – NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets made an order, which will prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, stopping or proceeding, the following temporary prohibition: Location: 182 Brick Lane, E1 6ED. Road is to be closed for approximately 20 metres from Brick Lane junction with Sclater Street and Cheshire Street. Reason: To facilitate high voltage works. The works are to be carried out on the public highway by Network Plus. Period: Thursday 13th August 2026 to Wednesday 19th August 2026. Alternative Route: For vehicular traffic will be via Harrow Place, White Kennet Street and Gravel Lane. TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 16-
THE TOWER HAMLETS (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) TRAFFIC ORDER 2026 (“ALL POINTS EAST CONCERTS” VICTORIA PARK) ORDER 2026 – NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets made the above-mentioned Order under Section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by Special Events Act 1994). The effect of the Order will be to prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding in:
a) Grove Road between its junctions with Gore Road and Roman Road;
b) Lauriston Road between its junction with Gore Road and Victoria Park Road
c) Old Ford Road between its junctions with Bonner Street and St. Stephen’s Road;
d) Sewardstone Road between its junctions with St James Avenue and Old Ford Road;
e) Bonner Street (northbound only) between its junction with Roman Road and Old Ford Road
f) St James’s Avenue (northbound only) between its junction with Sewardstone Road and Bonner Road
g) Aberavon Road between its junction with Mile End Road and Morgan Street
h) Rhondda Grove between its junction with Mile End Road and Morgan Street
i) Tredegar Square between its junction with Mile End Road and Morgan Street
j) Coborn Road (northbound only) from its junction with Mile End Road
k) Coborn Street (Southbound only) from its junction with Bow Road
l) Maplin Street from its junction with Mile End Road and Tony Cannell Mews
m) Wick Lane/Cadogan Terrace (northbound only) from its junction with Jodrell Road
n) Wick Lane (northbound only) from its junction with Monier Road

The restriction on vehicular traffic will enable the “ALL POINTS EAST CONCERTS” to take place in Victoria Park and to ensure safe egress and ingress from the park. Access will be provided for Police, Fire and Ambulance vehicles in an emergency or access may also be provided with the permission of a Police Officer in uniform. The Order will operate over two consecutive weekends when the temporary traffic signs are placed on the public highway:
• Friday 21st August 2026 from 21:00 hours until 00:30 hours
• Saturday 22nd August 2026 from 21:00 hours until 00:30 hours
• Sunday 23rd August 2026 from 21:00 hours until 00:00 hours
• Friday 28th August 2026 from 21:00 hours until 00:30 hours
• Saturday 29th August 2026 from 21:00 hours until 00:30 hours
• Sunday 30th August 2026 from 21:00 hours until 00:00 hours
• Monday 31st August 2026 from 21:00 hours until 00:30 hours
