(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the;
(i) Townhead Brow, from its junction with the A592, extending in a south westerly Direction for a distance of approx. 280m.
(ii) Scot Brow, from its junction with Townhead Brow, extending in a south westerly direction for a distance of approx. 340m.
Alternative Route: via Holbeck Lane, A591, A592, and the unrestricted section of the C5003.
Duration: From 1st September 2026 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROW/19909)
(iii) C5003 Troutbeck from its junction with Robin Lane, extending in a northerly direction for a distance of approx. 10m.
There is no suitable diversion route available for vehicles.
Duration: From 2nd September 2026 for approx. 3 days (Ref: TTROW/19928)

The Order will come into operation on 1st September 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
