City of Stoke-on-Trent (Traffic Regulation) (Montrose Street Permit Parking) (No.12) Order, 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Stoke on Trent made an Order on the 21st July 2026 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 45, 46 and 51 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The Order shall come into operation on the 31th August 2026. The effect of this Order is as follows:-
1. To establish a Permit Parking Zone (F2) in the lengths of road specified in the First Schedule below.
2. To introduce Double Yellow Lines in the locations specified in the second schedule
3. Any residential property referred to in the Third Schedule below will be eligible to apply for permits for that respective zone.
FIRST SCHEDULE - PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY ZONE REFERENCE F2
Montrose St - (NE Side) between points 10m and 41m east of Duke St (SE Side)between points 29m and 42m east of Duke St (SW Side)(i)between points 10m and 25m east of Duke St (ii)between points 49.5m and 59.5m east of Duke St
SECOND SCHEDULE - NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
Duke St - (SE Side) from Montrose St to 28m south-west of King St
Montrose St (Both Sides)(i)from Duke St for 10m
easterly(ii)from King St for 10m southerly (NE Side)between points 35m and 45m east of Duke St (North-west Side)between points 44m and 54m south-west of King St (SW Side)(i)between points 42m 49.5m east of Duke St (ii) between points 25m and 29m east of Duke Street
THIRD SCHEDULE - PROPERTIES ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR PERMITS ZONE F2
Montrose Street - All Businesses in Metfab House and No.2 Montrose Street
Duke Street - No. 298a
A copy of this Order, may be examined online at stoke.traffweb.app via Traffic Orders. If you wish to question the validity of this Order or any provision in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the above Act or on the grounds that the requirements of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date hereof apply to the High Court for this purpose.
