THE ROTUNDA CARRIAGEWAY FRONTING THE GUILDHALL OFF-STREET PARKING PLACE ORDER NOTICE 2026

NOTICE: is hereby given that on 12th August 2026 The Council of the City and County of Swansea made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers. The order will be effective from 17th August 2026, as set out in the schedules below. 

A copy of the order and plan may be inspected during office hours at Y Storfa, 277-278 Oxford St, Swansea SA1 3EL. Alternatively the documents can be viewed online at https://www.swansea.gov.uk/permanenttro.   

Any person wishing to challenge the validity of the order or procedures used in making this order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date the order was made.

SCHEDULE 1
Revocations
The existing orders are revoked insofar as they are inconsistent with the proposals herein which relate to the length or lengths of streets referred hereto.

SCHEDULE 2
Visitor Parking Parent & Child, Monday to Fridays inclusive, 8:30am to 4:00pm, Vehicles to register details at reception (Echelon Parking)
In an anticlockwise direction, from a point 8 metres south of the outer kerbline of the circle from its junction with St Helen's Crescent for a distance of 8 metres.

SCHEDULE 3
Visitor Parking, Monday to Fridays inclusive, 8:30am to 4:00pm, Vehicles to register details at reception (Echelon Parking) 

In an anticlockwise direction, from a point 16 metres south of the outer kerbline of the circle from its junction with St Helen's Crescent for a distance of 37 metres.

In an anticlockwise direction, from a point 59 metres south of the outer kerbline of the circle from its junction with St Helen's Crescent for a distance of 8 metres.

In an anticlockwise direction along the inner kerbline of the circle from its junction with St Hellen's Crescent for a distance of 49 metres.

SCHEDULE 4
Loading Only At Any Time (Echelon Parking)
In an anticlockwise direction along the outer kerbline of the circle from a point 53 metres from its junction with St Helen's Road for a distance of 4 metres.

SCHEDULE 5
Disabled Badge Holders' Parking (Echelon Parking - please register your vehicle details at reception. 

In an anticlockwise direction along the outer kerbline of the circle from a point coincident with the south western end of the road closure with Guildhall Road South for a distance of 34 metres (to provide 6 accessible parking spaces).

In a clockwise direction along the outer kerbline of the circle from a point coincident with the south western end of the road closure with Guildhall Road South for a distance of 25 metres (to provide 4 accessible parking spaces).
