What is happening?

(C206N CRAIGS ROAD) (TEMPORARY - TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic - Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close C206n at the junction - to Robertson Avenue, Dumfries from 24/08/26 to 26/08/26 0900 - to 1700 daily. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing - works. 

Alternative route available via Craigs Road, Georgetown - Road, Annan Road, Leafield Road, Brooms Road, St Michael’s - Street and vice versa. 

Emergency access will not be available if - required. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

(B797 MENNOCK - LEADHILLS)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) - ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation - Act 1984 to temporarily close B797, from its junction with A76 - at Mennock to Wanlockhead from 24/08/26 to 25/09/26 (9am to - 5pm daily – weekdays only). 

The closure is necessary to facilitate - carriageway repair works due to landslides. 

Alternative route - available via TRA76, B740, B7078, A702, B797 and vice versa. - Emergency access will not be available if required. Pedestrian - access will not be maintained.

(C8N COLLIN - JERICHO BRIDGE)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER) - NO.2 ORDER 2026

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic - Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily close C8n at The Steading, - Low Road, Roucan, Torthorwald from 08:00 on 25/8/26 to 17:00 - on 27/8/26. 

The closure is necessary to facilitate BT ducting - works. Alternative route available via C8n, C9n, A709, C8n - and vice versa. 

Emergency access will be available if required. - Pedestrian access will be maintained.
