(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS,
EQUESTRIAN TRAFFIC AND PEDAL CYCLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance - of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act - 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will - be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians, equestrian traffic and pedal - cycles that length of Public Right of Way (Bridleway) 335a (Strawberry - Lane) which extends from Sherrin Way in a southerly, then westerly, - then southerly direction for 264 metres.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be - executed on or near the public right of way (bridleway) and will - be operative from 7th September 2026 for a maximum period of - 6 months. However, the closure may not be implemented for the - whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are - anticipated to take place between 7th September 2026 and - 1st January 2027).

(UNNAMED FOOTPATH BETWEEN HAZEL ROAD AND - WILLINTON ROAD TO BROOK FOOTPATH AND WILLINTON ROAD - TO BROOK FOOTPATH, KNOWLE, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS) - ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance - of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act - 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will - be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians the lengths of footpaths - specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to - be executed on or near the footpaths and will be operative from - 16th September 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hazel Road, Airport Road, Creswicke Road, - Alard Road, Willinton Road and vice versa

SCHEDULE – Temporary Prohibition of Use by Pedestrians

(CAMERON WALK AND GAINSBOROUGH SQUARE, LOCKLEAZE, - BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) - (TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of - the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be:-

1. to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads as specified - in the Schedule to this Notice; and

2. to suspend, temporarily, when appropriate signs are covered, the - existing one way traffic in Gainsborough Square working:-

(a) south eastwards in its northern carriageway; and

(b) south westwards in its eastern carriageway – - so as to allow access and egress for works vehicles.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed - to be executed on or near the roads and will be operative from - 14th September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. - However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of - the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are - anticipated to take place between 14th September 2026 and - 2nd November 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Bonnington Walk, Landseer Avenue, Hogarth - Walk, Romney Avenue, Brangwyn Grove, Gainsborough Square - (part unaffected)
