Order made: To close that part of C2274 Mickleton Rd from its junction with C2049 Stratford Rd for a distance of 1400 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing inc civils works over multiple phases by WCC.

Alternative route: C2049 Stratford Rd, C2006 Weston Rd into Gloucestershire and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 17 August 2026 and 28 August 2026.

(U47008 Holloway, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47008 Holloway from its junction with A4104 Three Springs Rd to its junction with U47011 Allesborough Dr.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U47008 Holloway (part), C2056 Besford Bridge, B4084 Worcester Rd, A4104 Three Springs Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 7 days (24hrs) between 8 September 2026 and 16 September 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U46607 New Rd from its junction with C2007 Little Comberton to Elmley Castle to its junction with C2223 Bricklehampton to B4084 Evesham Rd.

Reason: Pre-Surface dressing patching & civil works by WCC.

Alternative route: C2007 Little Comberton to Elmley Castle, C2223 Bricklehampton to B4084 Evesham Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 7 September 2026 and 18 September 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U43606 Evesham Rd from its junction with C2263 AB Lench Rd to its junction with Orchard Cl (NSG ref 45405919).

Reason: drainage work by WCC.

Alternative route: C2263 Main St, C2011 Atch Lench Rd, C2011 Atch Lench Rd to Leys Rd, C2117 Handgate Ln, U43606 Evesham Rd (part) and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1 – U45402 West End Ln from its junction with B4632 Cheltenham Rd to its junction with C2122 Snowshill Rd. Closure 2 – C2122 Snowshill Rd from its junction with U45432 Church Cl for a distance of 1710 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Gigaclear Limited.

(C2011 Low Road/C2011 Rous Lench Green to Low Road, Church Lench) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of: 1) C2011 Low Rd from its junction with C2263 Main St to its junction with C2011 Rous Lench Green to Low Rd. 2) C2011 Rous Lench Green to Low Rd from its junction with C2011 Low Rd for a distance of 270 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2263 Main St, C2263 Ab Lench Rd, C2263 Rous Lench to Ab Lench, C2022 The Green, C2011 Rous Lench Green to Low Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days.

(B4085 Blackminster, Offenham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4085 Blackminster from its junction with U45208 Clayfield Rd to its junction with C2047 Station Rd.

Reason: Level crossing maintenance by Network Rail.

Due to safety reasons there will be no access for pedestrians.

Alternative route: B4085 Blackminster (part), B4085 Cleeve Rd, B4510 Cleeve Rd to Three Cocks Ln, B4510 Evesham Rd, B4510 Offenham Rd, B4035 Badsey Rd, B4085 Birmingham Rd, B4085 Blackminster (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (23:00-05:00). Commencing: 7 September 2026.

(U44704 Kent Close/U44703 Alexandra Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of 1 – U44704 Kent Close from its junction with U44705 Evendene Rd to its junction with U44703 Alexandra Rd. 2 – U44703 Alexandra Road from its junction with U44704 Kent Cl to its junction with Old School Court (private road).

Reason: Replacement gas main by Wales and West Utilities.

Alternative route: Diversion for Closure 1 – U44703 Alexandra Rd, U44701 School Rd, U44706 Malinshill Rd, U44705 Evendene Rd and vice versa. Diversion for Closure 2 – U44704 Kent Cl, U44705 Evendene Rd, U44706 Malinshill Rd, U44701 School Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 54 days (24 hrs) Commencing: 7 September 2026 (Phase 1 – U44704 Kent Cl 7/9 – 25/9) (Phase 2 – U44705 Alexandra Rd – 28/9 – 30/10)

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (B4084 Allesborough Hill, Pershore) (Temporary 30 Mph Speed Limit) Order 2026

Proposed order: To impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit on that part of B4084 Allesborough Hill from a point 147 metres northwest of its junction with C2056 Besford Bridge for a distance of 550 metres in a north westerly direction and in both directions.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: Special Forces vehicles.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days.

Commencing: 7 September 2026.

(District of Wychavon – Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2026 [Disabled Person’s Parking Space on Spion Kop, Pinvin]

On 30 July 2026 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled person’s parking space on the following side and length of road in Pinvin:-

Spion Kop: from a point 41 metres south east of its junction with Pendas Meadows Road for a distance of 5.5 metres in a south easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 20 August 2026.

The works will commence on 27 August 2026.
