Oxford - Temporary Traffic Restrictions for Filming

SPECIAL EVENT ORDER 2026

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Date of Order: 14 September 2026

Order In force: 20 September 2026

This order is being introduced in the interest of public safety for the filming of an Apple TV production to be held from 20 - 24 September 2026 at various locations in Oxford City centre and is organised by Jackson River Films Ltd, Orchid 1, Garden Studios, 21 Waxlow Road, London NW10 7NU. The effect of the order is to temporarily close (intermittently) sections of roads and to implement No Waiting and No Loading/Unloading between 7am and 7pm daily 20 - 24 September as follows:

Brasenose Lane – Entire Length,

Broad Street – From Broad Street roundabout to the junction with Turl Street,

Parks Road – From North of Kings Arms PH to the Broad Street roundabout,

Holywell Street – From Bath Place to the Broad Street roundabout,

New College Lane – Entire Length,

Queens Lane – Entire Length,

Catte Street – Entire Length,

Bath Place & St Helens Passage Public footpath No.320/48/10 – Entire Length.

These closures will only be in place intermittently throughout the days.

Traffic will be managed by marshals who will redirect vehicle accordingly supported by local signage.

Exemptions are included for emergency services, for property access, and for vehicles and equipment necessary for undertaking the filming.
