Leicester City Council (Glenfield Road, Leicester) (No waiting prohibitions) (Parking Consolidation Order 2025 Amendment No.019) Traffic Regulation Order 2026 (TMP1032)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Leicester City Council ("the Council") has made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 5, and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby makes the following order: -

• Introduce no waiting prohibitions on all days at all times on parts of Glenfield Road
• To revoke certain existing prohibitions and restrictions

A COPY of the proposed Order, the relevant plan, the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and extract copies of the Order being amended may be seen at Leicester City Council's website:leicester.gov. uk/trafficregulationorders, at: https://leicester.traffweb.app/ traffweb/2/PublicConsultation , or during normal opening hours at Leicester City Council, Customer Service Centre, 91, Granby St, Leicester, LE1 6FB.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order (which was made on 12 th August 2026) or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the 14 th August 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

This Order will come in to force on 17th August 2026
