TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
Notice is hereby given that Oxfordshire County Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intends to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order as detailed below:
Nature of Restriction: Road Closure for HGV Vehicles
Location: Kirtlington Road, Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire
Description of Works: Requirements to close Portway/Kirtlington Road to facilitate Section 50 works being carried out by ECL Civil Engineering on behalf of David Wilson Homes.

Duration: Starting on 10/08/2026
The anticipated completion date is 31/12/2026
(Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders have a maximum duration of 18 months, or 6 months for footpaths, bridleways, cycle tracks and byways that are open to all traffic).
Access: Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for properties within the closed section of road where reasonably practicable. The road closure is in place to prevent access by HGVs; however, resident access will be maintained throughout.

The anticipated completion date is 19/09/2026 16:00
