What is happening?

(LANE HOUSE LANE AND HOLLIN HALL, TRAWDEN, PENDLE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over those lengths of
i. Lane House Lane, Trawden from its junction with Old Tramtrack From Church Street to Lane House Lane to outside property 43 Lane House Lane.
ii. Hollin Hall, Trawden from its junction with Sack Booth to its junction with Floats Mill.
2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 0930 hours on Tuesday 25th August 2026 until 1500 hours on Friday 28th August 2026 or until completion of the works within this period.
4. Vehicular access for residents will be maintained whenever and wherever possible. Emergency services access will be maintained whenever and wherever possible. Pedestrian access to properties will always be maintained.
5. No diversion available due to the locations of the works
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow Telecom pole maintenance works to be carried out by Dutton Traffic Management Services.
